who will be the 2024 BRITISH INDOOR KARTING CHAMPION?
The British Indoor Karting Championship launched in 2020 when TeamSport Karting partnered with Motorsport UK, the governing body for four-wheel motorsport in the UK, to create an accessible and affordable grassroots racing event set to revolutionise indoor karting across the UK. We’re incredibly excited to run the Championship again for the third year. Qualifying starts at 35 TeamSport venues UK wide on 1st June 2024 and you have up until 31st August 2024 to set your qualifying lap times.
The event is open to anyone who has an interest in Karting and Motorsport, whether you are new to karting and want to simply be part of the experience or you are a seasoned motoring professional looking to take a British Title.
In order to participate you are required to hold a Motorsport UK K-I Licence which forms part of our Elite Membership package or Race Academy Advanced Membership. The cost is just £34.99 and along with becoming a #GRID Elite Member or Race Academy Advanced Driver you’ll receive discounted karting and offers along with the K-I Licence and great Member discounts from Motorsport UK.

The 2024 Championship has 5 categories
Under 16
Cadet: 8-12 years (If 12th birthday falls after 1st June 2024)
Junior: 12-16 years (If 16th birthday falls after 1st June 2024)
16 years +
Lightweight: Drivers weighing under 70kg
Middleweight: Drivers weighing no less than 70kg
Heavyweight: Drivers weighing no less than 85kg
