BIKC 2026 Qualifying Guide
With BIKC qualifying now underway, here’s a step-by-step guide covering everything you need to know from start to finish.
Step 1: Register!
The first and most important step is registering for the BIKC. You can do this by clicking here.
To be eligible for the next stage of the competition, you must have an active BIKC 2026 licence applied to your profile before the end of qualifying on 31 August 2026.

Step 2: Hit the Track!
The next stage of qualifying is setting your three qualifying lap times.
The following sessions are eligible for BIKC qualifying lap times:
- Adult Ultimate Race Experience
- Family Ultimate Race Experience
- Three4Twos
- Race Academy
- Race Academy League
- Members 342
- Members Events (Thursday)
- Karting Parties
- Exclusive Grand Prix’s
- Open Grand Prix’s
- 50 Lap Races
Using any of the sessions listed above, you must set three qualifying lap times on three separate days.
Please note: If you participate in multiple sessions or bookings on the same day, only your fastest lap time from that day will count towards qualifying.
Step 3: Secure Your Place in the Local Finals!
To qualify for the Local Finals, drivers must finish within the following positions in their category:
- Cadets – Top 20
- Juniors – Top 24
- Lightweight – Top 24
- Middleweight – Top 24
- Heavyweight – Top 24
You can keep track of your position by speaking to your Chief Instructor or by checking your venue’s local social media pages.
How Qualifying Times work
Your qualifying position is determined by your average lap time.
The three qualifying lap times you set will be averaged to create a single qualifying time, which will then be compared against other drivers in your category.
Need to improve your average? No problem.
Simply return to the track and improve one of your slower qualifying times. Drivers can continue reducing their average lap time throughout the qualifying period by improving upon previously recorded times.
Step 4: Represent Your Venue at the Local Finals!
Once qualifying has concluded, you will receive an email informing you whether you have qualified for the Local Finals.
If you qualify, it is important to act quickly. You will be given a 7 day booking window to secure your place, and any unclaimed spaces may be offered to drivers on the reserve list.
Important Information
- Drivers cannot change their qualifying venue or weight category once the competition has commenced on 1 June 2026.
- If you’re unsure which category to compete in when qualifying begins, don’t worry. Any qualifying lap times set between 1 June and 31 August 2026 will still count, regardless of when you purchase or apply your BIKC licence, provided the licence is applied to your profile before the close of qualifying on 31 August 2026.
- Please ensure the email address linked to your profile is correct, as all qualification invitations and competition updates will be sent via email.
- If you’re unsure whether your email address is up to date, please speak to a member of staff at your local venue.
- Please note that issues can occur when multiple profiles share the same email address. To avoid any communication problems, we strongly recommend that each profile has its own unique email address.
