BIKC 2026 Registration Now Open!

BIKC Junior winner checkered flag

The journey continues with the seventh edition of the British Indoor Karting Championship, and this year promises to be one of the most exciting yet. Open to both new and returning drivers, BIKC 2026 introduces renewed sponsors, updated regulations and some exciting new additions set to join the competition at a later date!

The BIKC remains a true grassroots championship, committed to offering an accessible and supportive environment for drivers of all abilities. Every year, five British Champions are crowned across the driver categories, and in 2025 we celebrated five unique champions the first time since 2020. Their achievements now sit proudly in the BIKC history books!

This year brings several notable updates. Warrington rejoins the pool of qualifying venues, meaning that all TeamSport tracks will once again host a Local Final in 2026. We’ve also refined the adult weight categories to ensure even fairer competition, with Lightweights set to 75kg and below, Middleweights at 75kg to 85kg, and Heavyweights remaining at 85kg and above. Finally, we are delighted to confirm the renewal of our partnership with Club100, who return as headline sponsors for the upcoming championship.

Across its six years of competition, the BIKC has made a remarkable impact featuring 25 unique winners who have earned championship titles, the series celebrated its first ever female podium sitter, and 4969 drivers registered for the 2025 championship alone. A true testament to the championship’s growing community and momentum.

The BIKC is open to drivers of all skill levels, though a few entry requirements must be met. All competitors must hold a valid Motorsport UK K‑I Licence and a TeamSport Elite Membership. For drivers under 16, a Race Academy Membership and Race Academy Advanced Licence are also required. The Elite and Race Academy Memberships are priced at £34.99, these not only includes the K‑I Licence but also unlocks exclusive karting discounts, making extra practice sessions more accessible. In addition, each driver must have the correct BIKC 2026 licence category applied to their TeamSport profile to ensure their entry is valid.

Registrations are open now, with qualifying beginning on the 1 June at your local TeamSport track. Drivers will need to set their fastest laps across three separate days, with their top three times used to determine whether they progress to the Local Finals in September. Now is the perfect time to start practising, sharpen your pace and put yourself in the running.

With registrations officially open, make sure you secure your place and begin your journey toward the 2026 British Indoor Karting Championship. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this incredible championship.
